SUBMISSION PROCESS FOR WORK STUDY

We're thrilled to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our Misfit Community as an intern and exchange work for classes.

Here's how it works:

1. Application: To apply for WORK STUDY at Misfit, all you need to do is fill out this brief online application form. We don't require any prior experience or fancy resumes—just your passion for improv and acting! We will review your application and determine if we think you are a fit.
2. WORK STUDY Placement: If you are a fit, we'll match you with a role based on your skills, interests, and availability. We offer a variety of intern positions, including working SHOW CREW FOR MISFIT SHOWS, creating and posting social media content, updating our website, SUPPORTING THE IMPROV JAM, and much more. We want you to have a well-rounded experience and explore different aspects of our school.
   
3. Class Credit: At Misfit, we believe in the power of learning by doing. That's why for every hour you dedicate to working with us, you'll receive an hour of class credit. These class credits can be accumulated and used to enroll in our regular courses. It's a win-win situation—by supporting our community, you'll also be investing in your own growth as A PERFORMER.
4. WORK STUDY Hour Completion: Before you can sign up for a course, we kindly ask that you complete the number of hours required to attend the class. This ensures that you have a solid foundation in our community and have had the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our school. The specific number of hours required will be determined based on the course you wish to enroll in. If the course is a two hour class for 8 weeks, that is 16 hours of improv class and would need 16 WORK STUDY hours to signup.
